This policy explains what personal data is collected on recetasmacro.com, what it is used for and what rights you have, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

3. Calculators and favourites
The data you enter in the calculators (age, sex, weight, height and activity) is processed only in your browser. It is not sent to or stored on any server. The recipes you save as favourites are stored in your browser's local storage, and you can delete them at any time by clearing the site data.
4. How long data is kept
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and for a maximum of one year. Your newsletter email is kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do by replying to any email I send you or by writing to recetasmacro@gmail.com.
5. Who it is shared with
Your data is not sold or passed on to third parties, unless required by law. The providers that run the website do have access to it, under a data processing agreement:
- Web hosting and visit statistics: Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you).
- Form delivery: FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards your message or subscription to my inbox.
- Email: Google Ireland Ltd. (Gmail), where I receive and answer messages.
- Advertising: Google Ireland Ltd. (Google AdSense). More information on how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- Affiliate programme: Amazon EU S.à r.l., when you click a link to Amazon.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, they use the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability of your data at any time, and withdraw your consent. Write to recetasmacro@gmail.com stating which right you wish to exercise.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
7. Minors
Children under 14 may not submit their data through the forms on this website without the consent of their parents or guardians.
8. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and reasonable measures are applied to protect your data against loss or unauthorised access.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of the page.
